第15屆 · 2020愛心獎參選指引 The 15th Compassion Award 2020 Nomination Guidelines
現凡居住中國內地（以下簡稱內地）、香港、澳門、台灣，並持有當地永久居民身份（分）證或全球華裔（華人/華僑等），不分宗教、性別、職業、年齡，其愛心善舉符合「獎勵標準」(符合下列其中一項或多項者)，均可經推薦參選。參選人如參選期間去世，即喪失參選資格。
Residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan holding the relevant permanent identity cards, or foreign citizens of Chinese origin (ethnic Chinese or overseas Chinese), regardless of religion, gender, occupation, age, whose charity works or charitable acts fulfill one or more of the award requirements below, are eligible to be nominated by a third party. If the Applicant passes away during any stage of the application process, he /she will be disqualified.

公益領袖，慈善文明先行者。
Leaders or pioneers in charitable acts, charity works and philanthropy..
移風易俗，匡正社會風氣者。
Social pioneers, transforming habits and customs for the better, and rectifying and improving the general trend, tendencies and atmosphere of the society.
心繫社會，企業慈善領導者。
Compassionate entrepreneurs, leading the enterprise to contribute to the community as a whole.
濟困扶危，救助老弱無依者。
Those fervently helping others in distress and aid those in need or peril, including the elderly and orphans..
默默行善，造福社會大衆者。
Low profile philanthropists, bringing benefits to the general public.
推薦人/推薦機構負責人須將中文或英文報名表資料(圖、文限10頁A4紙以內；影音資料限2-3分鐘)及「獎金使用計畫」，於截止報名日期前送交本獎。
The Nominator/ Nominating Institution should submit the completed Chinese or English Application Form with supporting materials such as photographs, newspaper clippings, social media posts (maximum 10 pieces of A4 paper; short video of around 2-3 minutes) as well as future plan or project outline for the prize money, on or before the application deadline.
參選人須由政府/學術/註冊慈善團體/非政府組織或非牟利機構推薦（同一團體/機構最多可推薦3名）。
The Applicant must be nominated by government departments, academic institutions, registered charities, Non-Governmental Organizations, or Non-Profit Organizations. The same organization / institution can nominate up to 3 Applicants each year.
參訪團預定於終選會前用探訪/視訊/電話會議等靈活方式，參訪終選入圍者。
The Panel of Judges plan to visit or interview the finalists prior to their final selection meeting, through on-site visit, video conferencing, or telephone conference meeting.
每名得獎人將獲頒獎金美金15萬元、獎座及獎狀等，得獎人需將獎金全額用於參選地區公益慈善；如得獎人於頒獎典禮前/後去世，獎金(含未頒發獎金)由本獎議決處理。
Each Awardee will receive US$ 150,000, together with the Compassion Award trophy and certificate. The Awardee must spend the total amount of prize money on furthering the public good and charities locally. If the Awardee passes away prior to / after the Award Presentation Ceremony (before part of all of the prize money has been given out), the Award Committee has the complete discretion in deciding what to do with the whole or the remainder of the prize money.
全球得獎人名額8名，得獎人不分名次；特殊情況下，本獎有權提名各地區愛心企業家、對公益慈善事業有特殊貢獻者1-2名得獎。
There will be 8 Awardees around the world (in no particular order). Under special circumstances, the Award Committee has the right to nominate 1-2 exceptional and compassionate entrepreneurs, philanthropist(s) or charity leader(s) who have special contributions to community and philanthropic works globally.
獎金自頒獎典禮日起1年內分3階段頒發，「獎金頒發準則」將提供予得獎人參考。
The prizes will be allocated in 3 yearly installments after the Award Presentation Ceremony. The Awardee can refer to the Prize Presentation Guidelines for reference.
參選人如有法律訴訟，須主動申報；如未申報或虛假不實，經查核證實，將取消參選資格。得獎人在得獎前/後遭法院起訴，本獎有權追回、暫緩或停止頒發獎金。
If the Applicant is involved in any legal dispute, he / she must report such fact to the Award Committee; otherwise he / she will be disqualified. If the Awardee is involved in legal proceedings prior to / after announcement of the Awardees, the Committee has the right to retrieve, suspense, stop or curtail the prize money.
得獎人須親自出席頒獎典禮，未經本獎事先同意而缺席者，或作棄權論。>
The Awardees must attend the award presentation ceremony in person. Those absent without prior consent from the Compassion Award Committee will be treated as having forfeited the Award.
得獎人須每季主動匯報行善活動並有義務應邀出席愛心獎推廣活動，如：每屆頒獎典禮、慈善籌款餐會、愛心探訪、座談會等。
The Awardees should report to the Award Committee quarterly in relation to their recent achievements, and accept the invitation to participate in the Compassion Award’s promotional activities, such as Award Presentation Ceremonies in subsequent years, fund raising charity banquets, on-site visits and forums.
本獎承擔全球各地得獎人及配偶(或推薦人/隨行人)共二人出席頒獎典禮來回經濟艙/商務艙機票、酒店住宿1-2晚費用；得獎人自理來港簽證/雜費。歡迎各得獎人親友自費組團50人以內觀禮。
The Award Committee will be responsible for the travel expenses of the Awardees and one accompanying partner chosen by them, such as their spouses, nominators, family members or friends, to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony in Hong Kong. The package include economic / business class round-trip air tickets and hotel accommodation for 1-2 nights. The Awardees should apply for relevant visa for travelling and take care of other miscellaneous expenses themselves. Delegation under 50 people led by the Awardees are welcomed to attend the Ceremony at their own expenses.
歷年參選未得獎者隔年可再參選；歷年得獎人得獎20年後可再參選。
Each unsuccessful Applicant can be re-nominated every two years. An Awardee can be re-nominated in 20 years’ time, from the year they were awarded.
依照香港個人資料（私隱）條例規定：參選人及推薦人填寫於報名表上的個人資料、 評選、票選及表決，本獎將予保密。參選資料不予退回。
In accordance with Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, information provided by the Applicant and Nominator, any details relating to the selection process, and the voting results, will remain confidential. All information provided by the Applicant will not be returned.
本獎有權使用參選人相關之相片/影音作刊物及網絡宣傳慈善活動等。本獎有權將得獎人事蹟發表、刊登、展覽、編成專輯供推廣，版權屬愛心獎所有；本獎將永久保留得獎人資料。
The Award Committee has the right to make use of the Applicant’s photographs / videos for publication, multi-media and online marketing for the promotion of the Compassion Award. The Compassion Award has the right to announce, publish, exhibit and put together a collection of the deeds and achievements of the Awardees, and the copyright thereof will be owned by the Compassion Award. The Committee will archive all the information provided by the Awardees.
基金會現屆董事局成員及職員、合作媒體、終選委員的直系親屬不得參選或直接擔任推薦人。
Any application or nomination by any of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Macau Taiwanese Charity Fund (HMTCF), staff, media partners, panel of judges of the Compassion Award and their relatives, will be considered void.
本指引如有爭議或未盡事宜，委員會/終選會得援引章程，保留最終決定權。
In case of any dispute or contentious matters, the decision of the Award Committee shall be final and conclusive.
