As a guiding figure in palliative care, this individual has transformed medicine into love. During his 32 years of service at National Taiwan University Hospital, he established a support room and hospice ward, driving Taiwan’s commitment to palliative care. In 2005, he founded a foundation and pioneered the training of religious leaders, integrating monks into the missionary system. He participated in legislative efforts to expand the scope of end-of-life care. While serving as the founding president of En Chu Kong Hospital, he introduced the concept of full responsibility nursing, enhancing healthcare standards and accessibility in nearby regions. Additionally, he founded the Taiwan Alzheimer's Disease Association, promoting patient care and advocating for the welfare of the elderly.
