In 2009, he invested HKD 8.56 million to establish the Singapore Novena Foundation. He has served as the full-time voluntary Executive Chairman of Sian Chay Medical Institution for 14 years, upholding the Chinese tradition of mutual assistance and embracing the noble mission of compassion. The institution provides free Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations, low-cost medication, therapeutic massage, and health care services to the public, regardless of race, religion, or nationality, benefiting countless individuals.

During the Wenchuan earthquake, he and his friends organized the fundraising event "Boundless Compassion, Love Flows to Sichuan," raising HKD 57.1 million. He later traveled between disaster-stricken areas, spearheading the construction of seven China-Singapore Friendship Primary Schools and a bridge. In 2019, he was recognized as one of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy.

2009年，投入856萬港元成立新加坡羅敏娜基金。擔任善濟醫社全職義務執行主席至今14年，該社發揚華族互助優良傳統，以慈悲為懷的崇高宗旨，不分種族、宗教和國籍，為社會大眾提供免費中醫問診、低收費藥物、推拿理療及保健護理服務，讓更多民眾受惠。

汶川地震時，與好友籌辦「溫情無國界，讓愛川流不息」籌款活動，募集5,710萬港元，其後穿梭災區，籌建7所「中新友誼小學」及1座橋樑。2019年獲《福布斯亞洲》雜誌評選為亞洲慈善英雄。
