Today, I am able to attend medical school with excellent results, and it is all thanks to the painstaking cultivation my mother provided during the most difficult times. Behind my personal success, it was my mother who made greater sacrifices and endured more pressure. Shouldn't she be more praised? Finally, I have lived up to my mother's high expectations, achieving the best results in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination and, as she wished, was admitted to the University of Hong Kong's Medical School. I firmly believe that while I have worked hard and put in effort to achieve my current results, it is my mother’s silent dedication over the years that is the most important factor in my success.

今日我能以優異成績就讀大專醫學院，實在全賴當年母親在最艱難的時期含辛茹苦的栽培。在我個人的風光背後，曾作出更大付出，承受更大壓力的母親，不應該更為人讚頌嗎？終於，我沒有辜負母親的厚望，在中學會考取得最優異的成績，並如她所願考入港大醫學系。我深信，儘管我也曾為得到今日的成績辛苦過、努力過，但母親多年來為我無言的付出，才是我成功的最重要因素。
